Commons Building 7 (6th floor)
Hello! I graduate in May so I am trying to transfer my lease to anyone so they can have the room for June and July (just two months since my roommate moves in the room on August).
This apartment has a microwave and a good view from the 6th floor... living room to overlook trees and a nearby neighborhood. It has a hard floor for the living room, but carpets for the individual rooms. The maintenance crew at this building are very receptive and help fix anything that goes wrong at no cost. The rent does cover electricity and water (just don't go overboard lol). This apartment has washer and and dryer, as well as a stove and electric coil cook tops. It has a control panel for temperature in the living room as well. Very nice place to access class from the south of campus.
My room is bigger than the rest (bigger than 1045 square feet), as it is a corner room. Still a great view and the room has a desk with closet. It has 2 windows and a new bed as well as drawer. This building is next to the Mowatt garage, so it is a bonus for drivers. One last thing to add is that this building was recently renovated so it is newer looking in the inside.
Although the standard lease is 12 months, I am transferring 2 months of my 12 month lease to anyone interested. So you are taking on 2 months worth of rent to stay for June and July (whole month of June, but July is only till the 29th because I assume the apartment wants us to move out by then).
