Looking for someone to take over the rest of my lease. 1 bedroom 1 bathroom at the Domain College Park. Lease takeover process listed below. I will pay for both the screening and transfer fee. No security deposit needed, and you get to keep the... security deposit when you move out.

A $25.00 screening fee would be charged to your account per adult applicant, and if the incoming resident is approved, both parties will sign a responsibility transfer agreement removing you from the lease and making the other party the official leaseholder. This process comes with a $500.00 transfer of responsibility fee.


Note that the incoming tenant will be moving into the apartment as-is with no turn (no cleaning or maintenance) of the unit by building management. It's important to note any payment arrangements with the incoming tenant prior to taking over the lease. For example, our water is billed 60 days after the actual billing period. If the incoming tenant requests that you pay for your water usage until you vacate the unit, you would need to set up a payment arrangement with them directly, as any and all bills will be posted to the rental account in their name.


Additionally, any security deposit associated with the lease remains with the unit, so they will be entitled to any deposit refund owed upon vacating the unit in the future, but will also be responsible for any existing damages to the unit. Read More
