Furnished Room & Quiet House

Furnished, upstairs bedroom in a single-family home. The three others in the house are either employed professionals or serious students. The bathroom is shared with one other (a graduate student). We are quiet, friendly and introverted.

The... bedroom has windows, a closet, and has a bed, side table, desk, chair, chest of drawers, and bookshelf. The house is furnished. The kitchen has all necessary cooking and eating utensils (e.g., pots, pans, knives, plates, silverware) for your use. Please see photos. Mesh wifi and central air conditioning also run throughout the house. The bathroom is shared. If you want to start a garden in the backyard, you're welcome to do so. Parking is available on the street in front of the house.

Campus shuttle services to the University of Maryland is located at the end of the block. Bus service to NASA Goddard is two blocks. It is an easy walk to the Greenbelt town center to purchase groceries at the local coop or stop off at the coffee shop. A lake and a National Park are also nearby for walks or for running. There are plenty of places to bike through USDA Agricultural Research Center.

Commuters traveling to DC, to NASA, or UMCP may see this as an opportunity to avoid extensive travel during the week. With respect to driving:
- 2 Min Drive to 495/95/295 entrances
- 5 Min Drive to Greenbelt Metro Station
- 15 Min Drive to Univ. of Maryland College Park
- NASA Goddard is 3.7 miles away.

No smoking or pets please. (Fish, turtles acceptable)

Utilities per person run approximately $130 a month and calculated as one-fourth of the total (electricity, natural gas, water, wifi, waste and lawn).
