Home in quiet and friendly neighborhood (Shared Housing)

Currently have two open rooms for rent, rooms are unfurnished. Rooms are located in a home right by the Cheverly metro station. As part of the orange line, this home is two stops away from New Carrollton, so it will also soon have access to the... long-awaited Purple Line.

Rent will be $800 for each room, but will include utilities (water, gas, electric, and internet). We are flexible on whatever type of lease you would like (annual, month-to-month, etc.)

This home is in a quiet neighborhood with friends and families having fun at the park right across the street. For food and groceries, there is a Costco about 5 min away, Walmart, and many other BIPOC run grocery stores such as Grand Mart International. There is ample parking located on the home's property, so you and guests have more than enough space to park.

The home itself has 3 bathrooms (but one of them is in an unfinished basement...so really just for emergencies for now). Will include other amenities such as a washer and dryer and some extra designated storage space. This home is pet and queer friendly, I currently have a small dog and cat named Nala and Raya (they'll be in the photos below!). Currently, we are installing two mini-split systems (a/c and heating) for the shared living room and hallway.

I myself am a graduate student studying sociology at the University of Maryland, so I am ideally looking for graduates and working professionals as roommates, but open to undergraduate students as well. I identify as a straight cisgender man (he/him/his), but have experience with co-ed living from a college "living learning community" and my time in AmeriCorps if interested/open.
