Walk to the corner of... campus in 6 minutes (1/3 mi / 0.6km) or to the student union or the graduate library at the center of campus in 15-20 minutes (1 mi / 1.6km). University of Maryland also has a free shuttle (stop is 0.2 miles from our house) that goes to the center of campus or to Safeway / Giant / Target / PG Plaza.
Your room is 14x14 feet (4.2m x 4.2m) or 200 square feet (18m^2), right at the foot of the stairs in the basement, has two windows and is fully furnished (see pictures).
Private full bathroom.
Quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for study/research.

Share public areas with young professionals: kitchen, dining room, living room (all on main floor); and exercise room (23x12 feet), laundry room (washer and dryer), and storage room (with extra chest freezer, refrigerator, and microwave) in basement. It's a no-smoking, no-pets house.
Neighborhood is quiet.

Earliest move-in date (July 31) may be negotiable.
