IF YOU LIKE RATS, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! This review could have been avoided if someone at Peabody Walk Lofts would simply pick up the phone or return voicemails. Since this complex was built, the quality of life on our block has plummeted due to total management neglect.
For over a year, the trash situation has been unacceptable. The two provided dumpsters are constantly overflowing, and because management has failed to install the code-required fencing/enclosure around them, trash blows... directly into the yards of neighboring homes. Furthermore, the lack of oversight has turned this area into a magnet for illegal dumping, which the property management refuses to address. There are rats everywhere - and not just hidden out of sight, but visible rats all over the place. Shoutout to Urban Place Property Management for ignoring their residents, neighbors, housing inspections, etc. for years!
I have attempted to resolve this through every proper channel:
Multiple phone calls and voicemails to the management office (all ignored).
Numerous Baltimore City 311 reports.
Outreach to the City Council for assistance.
The parking lot is perpetually covered in litter, showing a complete lack of pride in ownership and a total disregard for the Baltimore City residents who lived here long before this complex existed. If you are looking for a management team that is responsive, follows city code, or cares about sanitation and community relations, look elsewhere.
To Management: Do not reply with a generic "please contact us" template. You have my messages. Please simply clean up your property and secure your dumpsters according to city code.

I’ve called and emailed multiple times, left voicemails, submitted the contact form on their website, and even replied to their automated after hours text. No one ever got back to me. Based on this experience alone, I wouldn’t want to rent here. If they don’t respond to prospective tenants, I can only imagine how responsive they are to current renters. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I lived in the apartment for one year.
The apartment is a modern building without elevator in the 21st century…The building has no management team in the building. If something comes up, you are all on your owns… The management team will insist to let future tenants in and visit your living area several times a week, even though you have already refused them a lot of times. In the end, when i was leaving, the management team didn’t fully communicate with me and give my deposit to someone else.... Very terrible experience!
