Room in West Hyattsville Castle Manor Estates to Nursing Student in Exchange for Elder Care

Available is a single bedroom in a private, single-family home in the quiet neighborhood of Castle Manor Estates in West Hyattsville. Metro bus stops close by and about 3/4 miles from West Hyattsville metro station. Plenty of local grocery stores,... PG Mall and shopping district are about 1 mile away, and UMD campus is about 3 miles. Parking available in private driveway.

Room is in exchange for night and weekend companionship of an elderly woman who is a fall risk, hours are negotiable and flexible. Ideally looking for a nursing student or person with similar experience/training to help primary daytime time caregiver be able to leave and to provide extra layer of care or assistance if needed. Tenant is not expected to stay up all night, just be present in case of an emergency. No requirement for hands-on care.

Three references will be required. Pending approval by the City of Hyattsville. House has a cat.
