Large room with attached private bathroom on the 2nd floor of a 3-bedroom Mount Rainier home available immediately ($950). The lower level is colorful and full of plants, with a large backyard, screened in porch, and deck. The bedroom is... unfurnished. The renter would have full access to shared space. I only use the 1st floor, so the 2nd would be entirely yours.
The house comes with a small, exceedingly friendly dog.
Me: middle-aged social activist, queer, and former federal worker, frequent (mostly vegan) cook, regular host of low-key social gatherings that nearly always end by 9pm. Currently unemployed and so home often during the day.
You: respectful of boundaries, clean and responsible, left of center. Dog friendly, queer friendly. Must have references from former roommates. You cook infrequently, want to eat what I make and pay a little extra for it, or you're a great cook and want to share food and labor in the kitchen.
