South Campus Commons Spring 2026 Sublease!!!
Want to live in South Campus Commons?? I’m subleasing my room in South Campus Commons Building 3 for the Spring 2026 semester!! This is the perfect opportunity for those who are studying abroad this upcoming Fall and need a place to live when they... get back in the Spring!! Undergraduates at UMD only!
My room is part of a 4 bed 2 bath unit on the fifth floor (top floor) of SCC 3, located conveniently at the end of the hall, away from any potential elevator noise. There is a stairwell in the hallway located adjacent to the unit (You don’t hear the door open and close from the bedroom!). Currently, the residents of this unit are all girls!
Some amenities I’ve really enjoyed from living here this past year include:
-In-unit washer and dryer! - Complete kitchen with oven/stovetop, full-sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher, sink and garbage disposal! -Trash chute and recycling bins located at the other end of the hallway near the elevator! (No need to take trash outside to dumpsters! And it doesn’t cause the hallway to smell!) -Elevator located at center of building. -Full-service mail/package desk in Lobby! -Private Mailbox for the unit is in the Lobby and is accessible by key! -SCC Work Order / Maintenance service is super responsive and you can easily submit requests via the SCC Resident Portal! -Ability to set up automatic payments for rent in Resident Portal! -Located on campus along Knox Road! Super close to university buildings, Ritchie Coliseum (UMD gym on South Campus), shops and restaurants. 5-7 minute walk to Trader Joe’s! -Secure Swipe-In to the building with your Student ID. -Study Lounge on the 3rd floor of the building! -Less than 10 minute walk to Mowatt Parking Garage! (If you need nearby parking, you will need to purchase a parking permit from UMD)
Since the first day of classes for the Spring 2026 semester is Monday, January 26th, you are welcome to move in to the unit anytime from December 25th to the end of January!! I am graduating in the Fall of 2025 and will be moving out after the last day of finals (December 20th)! I will cover rent for the month of January, but you will be responsible for rent from February 1st - July 29th, when the lease is up. Rent is $1,058/month, and you don’t pay for utilities at all in South Campus Commons!
