I enjoyed living here for the most part even though there were issues. When I gave my notice to not renew, I also enquired about a new lease. At that point, we were not contacted for a while. Once I finally came in the office (they do not regularly answer phones, their answering service wasn't helpful, office hours didn't work for me to come in person most days with my job), we worked out a shorter lease. However, they never sent me the lease and wouldn't give me the actual rent price even... though they gave us a deadline. Fast forward to them not giving us the information we needed to renew and now saying we didn't give notice. They have made this much harder and a fight when there is no reason it should have been. Every other apartment would give you the price of your rent and your lease documents. And other apartments I've been at who have normal business hours respond quickly and don't give you the run-around. I would not recommend because their management clearly has a profit motive only

I am on my third lease at 1111 and it has been the best apartment experience I've had in Baltimore city. Front desk staff and management are great and attentive. Any maintenance issues are dealt with promptly (Steve). Amenities are adequate and well maintained. Exceptionally walkable location with access to public transportation. Everything you need is within a few blocks, sans a grocery store, which even that is only .9 miles away. Tons of restaurant and bar options. Cross Street Market is... directly across the street. CVS, ACE, gas station, convenience stores, banks, liquor stores, coffee shops, laundromat, dry cleaner, post office, medical offices, gyms, hotels, rental car, zipcar, waterfront promenade, spas, nail salons, salons, barbershop the list goes on and it's all within walking distance. The bedrooms are large and have massive walk-in closets. The building feels very secure, and I've never had any safety concerns. Amazing views of downtown depending on your unit. Overall, I would 100% recommend 1111 Light if you're looking to move to the South Baltimore area.

Wonderful staff and maintenance. Everyone is so friendly. Emails are responded to in a timely manner. The building is safe and clean. 10/10 would live here again.

I have been in 1111 light street for 3 of my 5 years of living in Baltimore and this is by far the best place to live for the price you pay. From the front office staff to the maintenance workers, everyone is friendly and very helpful to make the transition these last 3 years easier. There are fun events that the staff plans for us ( looking forward to crabs in August). It located right in the Heart of the city so everything is walking distance away. I’m glad I’m able to live here.BEST... APARTMENTS IN BMORE!!!!!!!

Clear and timely communication with our residents is a priority, and we deeply apologize... for any frustration this situation may have caused.
As part of our policy, residents are required to provide a 60-day notice to vacate. While we made efforts to accommodate your inquiries regarding lease extensions of six, three, and one month, we were unable to approve your request to vacate at the end of January, as it did not meet the 60-day notice requirement.
